Outside Guide Training Course
Working at Outside is a fun and challenging experience. Prior experience is not necessary.

We also cover public relations and leadership skills. This is comprehensive training for the full range of our programs—kayak, boat, and land-based tours. It is an intense, comprehensive training that can lead to further certifications.
All new staff, with very few exceptions, are required to successfully complete this program. The 5-day Guide Training Course costs $275, of which $175 of the cost will be reimbursed provided that you remain employed with Outside through August 15, 2025.
